Film Screening Surfacing by Donna Redlick
Surfacing is a movement video conceived of and created by Choreographer Donna Redlick, with dance interpreter Carolina Bergonzoni. The video foregrounds the body in surface-to-surface relationships to invite sensation, touch, and the proprioceptive experience as a way of ‘being in the world’ in connection to self, space and environment.
About Donna Redlick
Donna is a choreographer, dancer, and somatic movement educator/ therapist living and working in the Vancouver, on the land of the Coast Salish peoples. Her choreography has included works for the stage, installation, film and site-specific spaces and has been presented in a variety of festivals and venues in Canada, the U.S. and England.
